Red Dead Redemption 2’s PC Specs Have Appeared and You’re Going to Need A Lot of Hard Drive Space

Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC will require 150 GBs worth of space to download.

Hot off the heels of announcing that Red Dead Redemption 2 will now officially be coming to PC early next month, Rockstar Games has today revealed the specifications that you’ll need to run the game on your own rig.

Per usual, both the minimum and recommended specs to run Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC were revealed, and for the most part, you shouldn’t need too gaudy of a setup to run the game. The minimum specs ask that you only have 8 GB of memory, a GPU that’s at least as powerful as a Nvidia GTX 770, and an i5 processor. The recommended requirements are a bit higher, asking for 12 GB of RAM, a GPU near the GTX 1060, and an i7 processor.

The one thing that is required on both, however, comes in the way of the space you’ll need to download the game. Rockstar says that Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC will require 150 GB of space to download, which is pretty crazy. The game takes up a hefty amount of space on console platforms as well, but 150 GB is still a lot no matter how you look at it. If you’re planning on picking up RDR2 next month for your PC, you better start clearing space now, assuming you need to do so.

You can check out the full list of specs down below. Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to release on PC next month on November 5. It’ll also be coming to Stadia in November as well, though the platform’s launch date has yet to be revealed.
