Trails of Cold Steel III, already getting a Nintendo Switch port, has been announced for PC. The Steam version will be coming March 23rd.
Trails of Cold Steel III, revealed to be getting a Nintendo Switch version sometime in Spring 2020, received a brand new story trailer. And in a surprise reveal, the game will also be coming for PC on March 23th. The Switch version includes all the DLC, and presumably the Steam version will as well. There will be also be free cosmetic DLC for the PC version available as a early purchase bonus, for those who buy the title before March 30th.
Trails of Cold Steel III for PC will also feature plenty of fixes and improvements such as ultrawide screen support, fully customizable key bindings, enhanced visuals, additional High-Speed Mode Options (now up to 6x faster), and an auto-save functionality. You can add the game to your Steam wishlist right now, although preorders aren’t open as of yet.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III launched for PS4 on October 22nd. A PSN demo for the game recently came out as well, which includes the beginning and some dungeon crawling.
NIS America is a newcomer to The Legend of Heroes, as XSEED previously handled the series’ localization, and have been publishing PS4 ports of the previous two entries in the series as well. While NIS has come under fire for its Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana localization that was released in 2017 (and eventually changed), they have stated they have brought on staff involved in the series to help with the localization.
Trails of Cold Steel IV was announced in 2018 and has shown off plenty of gameplay, as well as DLC costumes, since then.
In other related news, Peter “Durante” Thoman, known for fixing Dark Souls’ PC port and bringing The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II to PC himself, founded a new studio called PH3 Games. PH3 Games is technically part of a larger company called PH3 GmbH where Durante will serve as Chief Technology Officer.
