After its delay last month due to COVID-19, Iron Man VR has gone gold ahead of its July 3 launch on the PlayStation 4.
After PlayStation announced its delay back in April, Iron Man VR has gone gold according to developer Camouflaj.
“After years of hard work, we are proud to announce that MARVEL’S IRON MAN VR has officially gone gold,” says the developer. “We can’t wait for everyone to #SuitUp when the game releases exclusively for PlayStation VR on July 3.”

For those that don’t know, a game going gold means disc versions of the game can be made and then shipped to retailers around the world. This wasn’t the only PlayStation exclusive title to go gold. Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II recently reached this milestone earlier this month, just in time for its June 19 release.
Iron Man VR was slated to launch back in February but it received a new release date this month. In case you didn’t know, Iron Man VR has players suit up as Iron Man in order to take down Ghost, a hacker who repurposes Tony Stark’s old weapons in an attempt to bring him down. In addition to the PlayStation VR headset, players have to use the PlayStation Move controllers to use Iron Man’s Repulsor Jets and defeat enemies along the way. Additionally, you can upgrade his abilities and customize how he looks.
Iron Man VR launches on July 3 exclusively on the PlayStation 4. If you can’t wait to play it, you can check out a free demo of it on the PlayStation Store now. If that’s not enough, you can watch the game’s release date announcement trailer below. As more news comes out about the game, including our review, we’ll be sure to let you know.
