Blue Protocol will also be getting a new stream on June 18, with a feedback report on the latest Closed Beta Test held in late April.
Bandai Namco might bring Blue Protocol to PS5 and Xbox Series X alongside PC. From May 14 to June 6, Bandai Namco Online had a job offer online for Technical Artists. Among the sought skills were “development experience with next-gen platforms (PS5, etc)”. Experience on PS4 and Xbox One was also mentioned. Bandai Namco Online is the studio working on online action RPG Blue Protocol. Seeing it’s such a huge project, it’s doubtful the recruitment was for another unannounced game developed at Bandai Namco Online. Meaning it’s possible Blue Protocol could be coming to current-gen and next-gen consoles alongside the officially announced PC release.
In a similar way, a job listing for a Localization Director, this time explicitly mentioning it’s for Blue Protocol, have been spotted in the past. The development team later on mentioned on a stream they are thinking about an international release, but for now are focusing on the Closed Beta Tests in Japan.

And speaking of streams, the next Blue Protocol stream has been announced. It will be held on June 18, at 20:00 JST (click here for a time conversion table). What’s interesting is this is the first stream since the latest Closed Beta Test in late April. We’ll have news on the game, and a full report on the Closed Beta. Meaning the game’s staff will live comment the feedback received from players.
For now, Blue Protocol is only scheduled to launch on PC, and only in Japan, with no release date estimate. You can also check out the game’s latest trailer, which includes Hiroyuki Sawano music, though it wasn’t officially confirmed it’s him yet.
