There’s an official Cyberpunk 2077 comic book on the way, arriving before the game itself.
Sadly, Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red has been delayed, but there’s a comic series on the way which is slated to launch before the game arrives later this year. The comic series has been created by CD Projekt Red alongside Dark Horse Comics.
The series is titled Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team and based on the upcoming game. It tells the story of Nadia, part of a privately-owned business known as Trauma Team International. Nadia is the only survivor of a failed rescue mission, and agrees to take on a mission for an extraction. As part of a new team, Nadia finds them in an even more dangerous situation than the one she survived.
The story is written by Cullen Bunn who has written other comics such as Spider-Man: Season One, and The Damned. Its illustrator is Miguel Valderrama who has been involved with the Giants comic book series.

The first issue seems to come in at 32 pages and is priced at $3.99. It also looks like there are a total of 4 issues to be released. The official Dark Horse Comics website has a comic shop locator so you can find out where to nab it from when it does become available.
While the game isn’t set to launch now until November, players can still expect to jump into a world that apparently provides three times as much freedom as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. While it is launching on the current generation Xbox One and PS4, the studio confirmed that those shifting to next-gen will be able to carry the current generation version over, and there’s a free update planned that will allow Cyberpunk 2077 to take full advantage of the consoles.
Those interested in picking up the comic should find it becoming available on September 9, 2020.
