Step on me, daddy.
If you’re like me, you’re still drooling over the trailer and screenshots that we got from last week when PlayStation and Bluepoint Games announced that they would be remaking the PS3 classic Demon’s Souls for the PS5. Now, those fine folks behind the game have given us something new to marvel at this week.
While it’s admittedly not much, a new screenshot from Demon’s Souls appeared on the official webpage for the PlayStation 5. The image in question features another look at everyone’s favorite big, shiny boy, the Tower Knight. Previously, we had only seen the Tower Knight appearing in all of his majestic glory briefly in the reveal trailer for the game. This time around, we actually get to see a picture from what seems to be the actual boss fight. As you can clearly see, he tends to tower (pun intended) over your own playable character and wields a pretty hefty shield, too.
You can check out the new screenshot in the featured image for this post at the top of the article.
Again, even though this new screenshot from Demon’s Souls doesn’t provide anything all that substantial, good gravy, this game continues to look pretty. Like I briefly said before, I’m still finding myself regularly glancing back at the first slate of images for the game that Sony let loose a week ago. Even though we still haven’t seen this new iteration of Demon’s Souls in action just yet, I’m really looking forward to seeing the first gameplay reveal for the remake.
Demon’s Souls is set to launch exclusively on PS5 at some point in the future. Let’s keep praying that we hear and see more of this one sooner rather than later.
And as for the PS5 itself, Sony’s next-gen console is still slated to arrive at an undetermined date and price later this holiday season.
