CrossFire X Campaign Revealed, Launching Exclusively on Xbox Consoles

CrossFire X is another console launch exclusive hitting Xbox Series X and Xbox One later this year.

Smilegate and Remedy officially revealed the first campaign trailer for CrossFire X which will be available for Xbox Series X and Xbox One in Holiday 2020.

CrossFire is a popular shooter franchise that has tons of players at most of the eastern Asian countries. It’s been a few years that Smilegate and Remedy Entertainment are working on a story-driven campaign mode for this multiplayer-based title, and finally, today’s Xbox Games Showcase revealed the very first story trailer of the game, which announcing CrossFire X Campaign as a console launch exclusive for Xbox Series X and Xbox One.

As shown in the trailer above, CrossFire X features modern-day battles against a hostile military corporate which is a deadly threat to the whole world. Your mission is to save the world from some selfish and evil minds that attempt to sacrifice anything to secure their power.

Featuring fast-paced gunplay similar to the Call of Duty series, you will be using a wide variety of weapons to take down your enemies. Even some cool futuristic options like getting invisible will allow you to get your objectives done while staying in the shadows.

Despite providing a glimpse at the gameplay, we still need more in-depth footage from the features and gameplay mechanics of the game’s campaign mode from Remedy Entertainment. CrossFire X multiplayer beta is currently available for free on Xbox One, which allows all the Xbox Live Subscribers to give it a whirl and get familiar with the combats and gunplay of the game.

CrossFire X will be available on Xbox Series X and Xbox One in Holiday 2020. It’s worth noting that all Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play it for free at launch.

Xbox Games Showcase was definitely a true challenger to Sony’s latest gaming showcase that went live last month. Both companies have yet other shows to fully reveal their upcoming projects for the next generation of consoles.
