It’s safe to say that Phil Spencer will probably be ordering from Pizza Hut in the future.
Opinions regarding the graphics of Halo Infinite have been divisive ever since last week’s Xbox Games Showcase. While some have insisted that the look of the next-gen shooter isn’t anything to scoff at, quite a few others have been sorely disappointed in the look of Infinite. Now, one pizza company is making its own voice on the matter heard, for reasons I’m not really sure of.
Domino’s Pizza’s UK chain felt the need to enter the Halo Infinite discourse earlier today and attempted to dunk on both the new entry in the long-running series and by proxy, the Xbox Series X. The tweet featured an image of a pizza where it’s current generation version was shown more clearly than its “next-gen?” iteration. Domino’s clearly was meaning to take shots at Halo Infinite and its graphical prowess as seen by the caption, “Don’t worry Chief, Domino’s always delivers.”

The response to the tweet was filled with many responses from people either finding the tweet funny, or those who seemingly couldn’t take the joke. However, what really seemed to dominate the replies were various images of Craig the Brute, the now-infamous character from Halo Infinite that 343 has lovingly started leaning into. You can’t go anywhere without seeing his face, and that’s not something I’m complaining about.
The biggest question of all to me in this scenario, however, is why on Earth are so many food companies tweeting about video games nowadays? On social media, various restaurants and brands such as KFC, Wendy’s, Arby’s, and now apparently Domino’s Pizza seem to tweet about video games regularly. How did this become a trend? And why is it even a thing? Clearly, I’m out of the loop when it comes to modern social media tactics.
Anyway, what do you think of Halo Infinite’s graphics? Do you think they’re a-okay, or do they need to be further touched-up prior to releasing later this year on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC? Let us know down in the comments or just drop your own favorite Craig meme, instead.
