Shadow Warrior 3 made its gameplay debut at the Devolver Direct 2020, giving a closer look at its blend of first-person gun and swordplay.
Devolver Digital’s line-up of games has traditionally been known for retro-styled indie games, with major indie successes like Hotline Miami, Enter the Gungeon, and more coming from the publisher. However, the publisher is also home to a wealth of fast-paced 3D experiences, with the upcoming Shadow Warrior 3 getting its time to shine with a brand new gameplay reveal to show off its style of first-person combat.
During the Devolver Direct 2020, the publisher shared a new gameplay reveal trailer for Shadow Warrior 3, giving us a closer look at the game’s mix of fast-paced gunplay and melee combat. The trailer runs for about a minute and a half, and whether you’re a longtime fan of the series or a newcomer, the trailer should offer an idea of what to expect from the first-person series from developer Flying Wild Hog. You can check out the full trailer for yourself below:
Other than the gameplay trailer, there was no additional information provided just yet for Shadow Warrior 3, which is currently set to release on PC sometime next year. However, at the moment you can wishlist the game on Steam and stay tuned for updates as it gets closer to release. However, if the gameplay trailer left you wanting more, the first two games in the series are currently discounted on Steam for about $20 right now.
Shadow Warrior 3 is currently in development for PC and expected to release sometime in 2021.
