The Outer Worlds might be slated to receive some add-on content in the future if a new teaser is any indication.
After a successful launch in 2019 that saw it become one of the most critically-acclaimed games of the year, it looks like Obsidian Entertainment might not be done with The Outer Worlds just yet.
Recently, a new teaser message of some sort appeared on the official website for The Outer Worlds that might indicate the game is slated to receive more content in the future. There isn’t much to the teaser, which takes the form of a statement from the in-game company Spacer’s Choice encouraging visitors to, “Stay tuned for another special message.”

It’s hard to glean anything specific from this message, and although DLC isn’t outright being confirmed, it would make the most sense to see The Outer Worlds get some form of new add-on content. The RPG has largely been very successful since it released in the latter portion of last year and Obisidian giving players a reason to pick the game up once again just makes too much sense.
The Outer Worlds is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and also recently came to Switch. Given that Obsidian is part of Xbox Game Studios, perhaps we will hear more about the future of The Outer Worlds tomorrow during the Xbox Games Showcase, which will go live at 9:00am PDT/12:00pm EDT.
