Ninja Gaiden Trilogy is said to be releasing next March and will include all three entries in the Sigma trilogy.
Rya Hayabusa has been absent from the spotlight for quite a few years at this point, but soon, it seems as though he could be making a return.
Over on Game Source Entertainment, which is a retail site located out of Hong Kong, a listing for the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy has now appeared for PS4 and Switch. While the post has since been taken down (but can still be found here), the description for the product says that it will include all three of Hayabusa’s most popular entries: Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge. The bundle is also said to be retailing for $40 and will release in March 2021.
Obviously, Koei Tecmo hasn’t verified that this collection exists just yet, so take this all with the usual grain of salt. That being said, retail leaks like this one typically end up being true more often than not it would seem. Plus, considering how long Ninja Gaiden has been absent, if Koei Tecmo wanted to consider bringing the franchise back, then testing the waters with a remastered collection of this kind would make a lot of sense.
Assuming this bundle is real and it is set to launch next year in March, you’d imagine we’ll hear more about it pretty soon in an official capacity. If that does end up happening, we’ll of course let you know.
