The update is making good progress it seems.
Stardew Valley is one of those wonderful cute titles that everyone seems to adore, and if you’ve been keeping up with ConcernedApe’s antics online, you’ll know that there’s a new game from the one-man development studio in the works. But also, another major update is on the way.
The upcoming update for Stardew Valley has been once again teased on Twitter with an official screenshot, this time showing off a bunch of new additions. One feature that’s instantly noticeable is that trees appear to be slightly submerged in the water, pointing towards possible floods or part of a new farm layout. As someone who has played the game a lot, I don’t recall this sort of area at all.
There’s also a character sitting on a bench, and ducks paddling in the water. But it’s certainly no lie that the progress of the update is looking good. At current, there is no official release date currently slated for the update.

Update 1.5 was announced earlier this year while fans and ConcernedApe were celebrating the games 4th year anniversary. What’s more, the update is to be a free update and riddled with new content. We’ve already seen confirmation that the game is going to be getting banana trees and potentially 3 other types of trees. There was also the announcement that there would be some new end-game content and a door to be added to the back of Willy’s shop.
Stardew Valley is available on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile.
