Reactions to the rumor that Dr Disrespect could be a character in Cyberpunk 2077 haven’t been entirely positive
Dr Disrespect’s entire aesthetic is vaguely cyberpunk, not in any social aspects, purely visually. He routinely uses the backdrop of a rainy, neon-lit city, the theme even made it into his announcement that he would be streaming exclusively on Twitch. With so much interest in the Cyberpunk aesthetic, it should be no surprise that a rumor is going around that Dr Disrespect may be the next e-Celebrity to have a cameo appearance in Cyberpunk 2077 along with Alanah Pearce, Jessie Cox and others.
The rumor mill started a few days ago when Dr Disrespect tweeted that he had something in the works regarding CD Projekt Red’s newest game. However, he never elaborated on that plan, and instead let the rumor mill spin.
Just wait until you see what we have planned.

While it’s not clear what plans Dr Disrespect has for Cyberpunk 2077, speculation naturally started up that he may wind up in the game, maybe even with his own side quest. It wouldn’t be the first time he’s collaborated with a game; Doc recently wrapped up work with Rogue Company, the free-to-play third-person shooter from Hi-Rez. Still, it’s impossible to say whether or not the Doc has something else in store.
That hasn’t prevented the internet from bucking at the idea of Dr Disrespect appearing in Cyberpunk 2077. Responses on Twitter to an article from Game Rant on Dr Disrespect’s possible inclusion in the game have been mostly negative, with many saying that it seemed like another instance of CD Projekt Red creating another PR disaster.
