Insomniac Games confirms that Spider-Man Miles Morales only has one playable character and that’s Miles.
Same as every generation, Sony has prepared some anticipated games to launch along with its all-new consoles on November 12th, and Spider-Man Miles Morales might be the biggest one for most of the PS5 fans.
With Sony acquiring Insomniac Games later last year, the studio is now extremely focused on bringing next-gen PS5 games to life. Spider-Man Miles Morales is a brand new standalone game based on 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man with so many graphical improvements that makes it look brilliant on PS5.
Recently, in an interview with Game Informer, Brian Horton, the creative director behind the upcoming Spider-Man title spoke about the game and its development process. During his interview, Horton revealed that players will only play as Miles Morales in the new Spider-Man game, denying any rumor around the appearance of Peter Parker as a playable character. Spider-Man Miles Morales will offer a 15-hour story-driven experience with a complete focus on Miles and the enemies that he deals with in New York around Christmas. More details about the main antagonists of the game are yet to be revealed.
Aside from PS5, the new Spider-Man game will hit PS4 as well, however, it won’t support a free upgrade to the next-gen version. If you haven’t played 2018’s Spider-Man yet, you can get a bundle of both games on PS5 which comes with some enhancements on the original version of the game as well.
Recently, Insomniac Games revealed the new face and look for Peter Parker in Morales‘ Spider-Man which somehow disappointed the fans of the original game, but the developers emphasized that they had to it in order to be able to improve the facial expressions for the next-gen versions and possible sequels.
Spider-Man Miles Morales will be out on November 12.
