In a surprise demo from 368 and Danny Pena, an NYC medic was one of the first to get hands-on experience with the Xbox Series X.
With the build-up to the release of the PS5 and Xbox Series X/Series S in less than a month, the anticipation and excitement around the next-gen consoles is only growing higher. While press and influencers have had the chance to experience these consoles over the past few weeks, one video highlighted one of the first reactions to playing a next-gen console
In a video shared by YouTube content house 368 and Gamertag Radio‘s Danny Peña on Twitter, the first hands-on experience with the Xbox Series X was held worldwide with a consumer before the system’s launch. The surprise hands-on demo was presented to Michael Santiago, a first responder medic in New York City, with the video highlighting Santiago’s reaction to the experience and getting to play the system for the first time before its release in November.

Well that happened!
Shout outs to @godfree @Xbox for this incredible opportunity. It’s still incredible to think the first consumer to play #XboxSeriesX came from not only #NYC but the #Bronx pic.twitter.com/vwPuNTbNii

With less than a month left until the release of Microsoft and Sony’s upcoming consoles, the surprise demo from 368 and Peña is an encouraging reminder of the excitement building up to the start of the next-generation. Given Santiago’s reaction, surely there is a lot to look forward to with the release of both consoles in November, and we won’t have too much longer to wait until we’ll get to play them ourselves.
The Xbox Series X and Series S will both launch worldwide on November 10, 2020
