With The Mandalorian: Season 2 coming this week, Star Wars: Squadrons will let you add some Baby Yoda flair to your ship with new content.
Released earlier this month, Star Wars: Squadrons gave fans of the long-running franchise the chance to once again hop into the cockpit of fan favorite Star Wars ships and fighters. From our review of the game, Squadrons feels like a dream to play for those that love the series’ thrilling space combat, and this week the title will happen to be getting some new content in time for the return of everyone’s favorite bounty hunter and his small, adorable green friend.
EA has announced that new content will be arriving for Star Wars: Squadrons to coincide with the release of The Mandalorian: Season 2, which will be debuting on Disney+ later this week. Specifically, the new content drop will include a variety of new cosmetics for your ship’s dashboard, holograms, and more. Of course, the new update includes a Baby Yoda bobblehead, which will arrive alongside the other new additions to the game on October 28, 2020.

This of course isn’t the first time that EA has integrated new content into their Star Wars games from the larger franchise. Star Wars Battlefront 2 introduced several new content updates based on the more recent films like Rogue One, The Last Jedi, and Solo, making it natural that Squadrons would integrate new content from The Mandalorian‘s upcoming new season. While the new additions aren’t story DLC or anything like that, the Baby Yoda bobblehead is more than enough to be worth it.
Star Wars: Squadrons is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Mandalorian: Season 2 will be coming to Disney+ on October 30, 2020.
