Steve Aoki, xQc and More to Face Off In Upcoming VR Game, Cradle of Sins

British VR developer, U24 Solutions is hosting an online event in their upcoming VR MOBA featuring Steve Aoki, xQc, Headhunterz and many other big DJs and content creators.

British VR developer U24 Solutions, the studio behind the upcoming game, Cradle of Sins, has organized an online event for DJs like Steve Aoki and Headhunterz and content creators like Sodapoppin and xQc among other popular DJs and Twitch streamers to face off in eight teams in their upcoming game to promote the game’s impending launch in early access. The event, dubbed ‘Beat & Battle,’ will showcase Beta gameplay for the first-person 3-on-3 VR MOBA and allow the celebrity combatants to fight for prize money to donate to a charity of their choice.

The event, set to air on the game’s official Twitch channel, is happening on Wednesday, November 11. U24 hasn’t shown off gameplay for the game for a few months now, so this is likely an indication that the Beta isn’t too far away. So far, the most recent gameplay that’s been released is in this brief teaser for the upcoming Beta.

The full list of YouTubers, streamers, eSports players and DJs involved includes Steve Aoki, xQc, PeskyCashew, Headhunterz, Sodapoppin, AxisMunde, Will Sparks, Loserfruit, Amanda Harkimo, ProjectJamesify, WATEVE, Yassuo, Daniel Levi, The Lonely Viper, MAGNUS, Reality Check VR, Milwin and Godhyr, with more pro players to be revealed between now and the ‘Beat and Battle’ event.

As things stand right now, U24 says that Cradle of Sins is set to launch in early access on Steam sometime in Q4 this year for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Valve Index and Mixed Reality. Developer U24’s site also includes references to platforms like iOS, PS4 and Android, suggesting that players on other platforms might be able to try it out when the game fully launches. Between November 11 and the game’s nebulous early access launch date, it’ll be interesting to see how the highly competitive MOBA genre crosses over into VR, especially since it’s in first-person.
